Sunday we celebrated two of the sweetest little miracles in the world! It seems like just yesterday we were sitting in the NICU changing those tiny little diapers. Now, I can't imagine our family without them. I still sit some times and think, "I have TWINS!" How cool is that! God definitely doubly blessed us when he entrusted them to us.
They might be identical twins but their personalities are nothing alike. The tricky thing is - they switch every few months. Over night the wild, mischievous one becomes the peaceful, loving one. Actually it is kinda creepy. So, normally . . .
Huck is happy-go-lucky. His smile is so big and he has already mastered the art of eye rolling. He loves to "play, play, play". He is an incredible eater! I give him food and it is gone in two seconds - even veggies! He is the most thankful little boy. Whatever you do for him - big or small - he always says "Tank Tou!" His favorite color is "boo" and he loves his blankies! I guess that is why he is my best sleeper. He is 25 pounds 8 ounces and 33 3/4 inches tall. Now that he has figured out his name is not Eli he will argue if you call him Huxton as well. He will tell you his name is "Huck". Outside he enjoys riding his tricycle. Inside he loves to sit in my lap and read books. His cheeks are the most kissable things in the world!
Eli is Danny 25 years ago. He is 23 pounds of cuddle and 33 1/2 inches tall. He used to be very sweet and obedient - and most of the time he still is. However, someone must have told him he turned two because he is stretching his independent legs. Throwing himself in the floor is his new way of protesting. He loves M&Ms and staying up late. His favorite color is "blatch". His favorite toys are his tractors and his little black truck. He doesn't sit still long enough to make it through a book. He is excellent at finding things! His "cheese" face makes everyone laugh! He likes to copy Jonah, especially playing soccer and kicking the ball outside. He also listens to Jonah's lessons so the answer to everything I ask is now "B". The one way to tell him apart from Huck is his hat. He has one on at almost all times of the day! So cute!
So, there you have it! My two sweet two year olds! Happy Birthday, Huxton and Eli!
