I am so proud of the young men they are becoming. Everyday they impress me with their love for others, each other, and especially their siblings. They are continually looking for ways to help others, encourage friends and siblings, and expand their skills. There generous hearts are inspirational. It brings such joy to my momma heart when I see that they enjoy being together and miss one another when they are apart. When no one else can seem to get along they can.

Huck
Huck is blossoming as a reader and learning so much from the books he devours. He has a determination that spurs him to accomplish physical goals and aids him in practicing self-control. These traits make him a peacemaker in our home. It is a struggle to find an activity that is uniquely Huck because his favorite pastime is whatever everyone else is doing. I never find him alone but rather playing Legos with Jonah, reading to Juliet, or racing cars with Benaiah. His mind understands people well, and he gives us a different way to look at situations because he can see things from another's point of view. He has always loved to spend time with me in the kitchen but now he can follow recipes with little help. He is learning to sew a button, too! I love when he groves to music with his smooth moves, and I cry from laughing so hard when he performs with Eli in creative "shows".

Eli
Eli is incredibly unique and always keeps us laughing. He can beatbox and jerks around in silly dances. He has the kindest heart toward his younger siblings. He is the first to jump at helping Juliet move her babies for the millionth time and entertains the babies like no other. He has mastered the pogo stick and wins Bocci most of the time. His heart is in his art. He enjoys painting and drawing cartoons. He uses his talent to make others smile. He might be the last one to get in the car or finish a meal but that is because he was caring for someone else. Just to be honest, sometimes he forgets he was even eating and finds the half-eaten remains later in the day! Nevertheless, his thoughtfulness makes me want to slow down and find ways to bless those around me. Eli gives me a big smile and a hug every morning. It is a wonderful way to start off the day!
