Whose's as wiggly as Jonah, wants all the attention after everyone is in bed, and has a sister who can't wait to hug/pat/feed/bounce/love on her?
Our baby GIRL, that's who!
Poppy Eleanor Melin will be joining our family in May!
She is named after my grandfather who we called Poppy. He was a man who loved the Lord and shepherded our family with wisdom, grace, and laughter. I have many fond memories shared with him - working in the garden, sneaking candy, riding the tractor, and so many more. He leaves a great legacy. I pray that our little girl will share these same characteristics and we can build a lifetime of memories with her.
As for Eleanor, I just like it. It goes well with Theodore I think ;)
Thank you for all the prayers and encouragement! We feel it and appreciate it more than you know. So many exciting times in the near future!

Adoption Update: Pickle Pants Gets a Name
The boys have chosen a name! Well, they agreed upon a first name and left it at that. It was a surprise to me because they pulled a name out of thin air. Then the shocker - they all liked it! So, baby Pickle Pants is going to be. . . THEODORE!
Theodore means "Gift from God". Isn't that the coolest? Every child is a gift from God, but this one is taking a special journey to get to our family. Danny says he will call him Theo. I really hope he is a cuddly Teddy. Either way, he isn't Pickle Pants anymore. :)
On another note (in the same song), we are still trying to reach our goal of 252 puzzle pieces. Right now we have 247 to go! But, God can do more than we can imagine, so we are trusting Him to provide. We ask that you prayerfully consider how you can help bring Theodore home.
As the due date draws nearer please continue to pray for the birthmother, God's perfect timing, and our family as we prepare to grow by two feet!
Thank you for sharing this journey with us!
