Juliet Turns Five!

Juliet had a pink-filled day full of fun to celebrate turning five!  She is a spunky, silly, and smart girl.  She embraces life in a family full of boys and is strong, fast, and unstoppable.  She loves all things sparkle, shine, and fancy.  She has learned to ride a two-wheel bike and hiked to the top of countless mountains.  She has lovely handwriting and her coloring skills put Danny's to shame.  She can beat the whole family in memory match and likes to come up with Would You Rathers for our around the table time - although they always revolve around ballet and princesses.  She cares for Theodore like a mother and loves to help me cook in the kitchen.  She longs for long flowing locks, but got my crazy hair (bless her heart).  She does have a stubborn streak and will fight for what she wants, but the brothers are learning to be more stealthy or move out of the way.  ;) She likes music to dance to and making up songs about whatever comes to her mind.  She is a joy and a blessing of a daughter.  We love her so much!

Theodore is Two!

Two years with this treasure!  (Good thing because that is about how long it takes me to finally get a birthday blog posted.)  I can't believe it - and not just because he is still the size of a one year old.  :) It seems like just yesterday I was nervously walking into the hospital to meet my precious boy wondering why in the world God would think he could entrust such a marvelous gift to me.

He has blossomed into the most cheerful and friendly little boy.  He doesn't say much that we can understand, but he loves music and laughing. His belly laugh can make the toughest day bright.  He is rough and tumble with his brothers and gentle with his sisters.  He is a super climber - nothing is out of his reach.

He and Poppy are a dynamic duo.  They chatter and play so nicely (and then get into everyone's things while they are busy with school work.)  The two of them have done some great murals on the wall.  They really are the best of friends!

He loves to dance, spin, and ride his bike.  He enjoys puzzles, cars, and will play along with whatever the crew is pretending.  He likes to push the limits and come back just in time to give a sly smile and not get in trouble.

We love him to pieces!

P.S. Daddy's shirt pictures are coming but we are behind!
